Ramona Planner

Planning for food and beverage makers · 13 weeks ahead

Know what to make, what to buy, and whether there's cash for it.

Ramona replaces the planning spreadsheet in small and mid-sized food companies. One weekly plan for production, purchasing and cash, and every number explains itself.

2:11 · Follows WIB Sauce Co., a fictional hot sauce maker, through one Monday.

Three questions, answered every week

01

What should we make?

A 13-week production plan from your forecast, stock and batch sizes. It says when to start each batch so stock never runs out, and flags weeks when a line runs over its hours.

02

What do we need to buy, and when?

From your recipes, Ramona works out every ingredient and every jar, label and lid: how much, from whom, and the date to order by. Late orders are flagged before they hurt.

03

What does that do to our cash?

Money in from customers and out to suppliers, week by week. If the plan needs more cash than you have, it tells you how much, and from which week.

Why not just the spreadsheet?

It works, until a supplier is late, a big order lands, or the bank asks how much you'll need next month. Ramona keeps the logic you'd build in Excel, and does the weekly chores for you.

Example · WIB Sauce Co. (fictional)

Glass bottles 150 ml
LATE order 12,000 by week 1
Lowest cash
$15,232 · week 7
Funding needed
$14,768
With +20% sales
$5,162 funding · line over capacity 2 weeks

What's inside

Start the week

Every Monday the plan rolls forward, last week's batches are marked made and stock is up to date.

Every number explains itself

Click a recommendation and read why: “Stock falls below target in week 2. Lead time 1 week, so start 3,000 units in week 1.”

Multi-level recipes

Blends, parts and finished products. Single-ingredient items can skip the blend. Ramona follows the whole chain.

Scenarios before you say yes

What if a retailer orders 20% more? See the extra batches, the purchases, the line hours and the funding needed.

QA and traceability

Optional. Batches keep their ingredient lots, so a supplier recall becomes a one-minute trace, not a day of notebooks.

Starts from your spreadsheet

Upload one Excel template with your products, recipes, suppliers and stock. No forecast yet? Ramona starts from your minimum stock.

Built for small and mid-sized food and beverage makers. It's a planning layer, not another big ERP: it sits next to your accounting system.

Try it with your own numbers

We're looking for a few food companies to run Ramona on real data. Setup takes one spreadsheet, and we help you with it. Access is by invitation for now.
